A pyramid in Haiti? It all starts with the Pyramids...

A few years ago during one of my trips to Haiti, my family and I visited "Au Cap" to see the historical sites.  This is one of the pictures that I took at Citadelle.  I looked out the window  and automatically thought... Is a pyramid.  Now Citadelle is said to be the largest/ biggest fortress in the Western hemisphere???  You should this for yourself it is awe inspiring, and majestic to say the least.  I could not shake however, the idea of a pyramid?   Citadelle is suited on top of a mountain and when I tell you there is no way out but DOWN, its UnReal, surrounded by nothing but mountains and if you look closely there is no trail way to this structure so how did they get there, how did they build it?  Part of the a legend that the guide told us was that Citadelle has many underground passageways built for Henri Christophe if he need to escape,  it is even said that the is a passageway from Citadelle to the Haitian White House in Port-au-Prince, now this seems like a stretch but is it?

The truth is that it all starts with the Pyramids, and moreover Egypt, but there are Pyramids all over the world.  The largest pyramid is said to be in Mexico and now with the Maya Calendar thing that is so big now.  Vodou and most religions are founded on Astro- theology.  Pyramids have several functions,  they mimic the constellations of the astro's, or to study further.  There are Pyramids, which are now called mounds in America.  Even the Mississippi River was once referred to as the Nile River.
It is with pride it is said that Tousaint L'Ouverture taught hisself how to read and write, but I think that it is important to notice what was going on in the world during that time.  Haiti was an epicenter for trade of all sorts.  It amazes me how easily the slave concept is so easily accepted as if the Natives were a dim-witted people.  Please!!! Trade was happening all up and down the coasts of the continents, which were navigated and perfected by the Moors...  Just look up Moor, more, moor in the dictionary and the truth will prevail.
