The "El"

By now, you may have realized how strongly I feel about WORDS, so I will do my best to select them wisely.

This is my Dad, may he R.I.P (1955-1997).  His name was AlmaguEL.  Born and shot and killed in a country where dreamed and made strides to return and retire in Haiti.  He grew up on his dad's farm.  A country boy, my grandfather own acres of farm land in the valleys of mountains toward Jacmel.  Although, I have not been, the soil is said to be red, and dry, but they made a living.

  Azaka is the lwa of the land,  regarded as a farmer.  Farmers are regarded as simple men, but farmers are in constant contact with the earth, soil, they are aware of seasonal changes, and understand sowing, reaping, and the harvest.  How can anyone with such information be simple, or poor?

It is with this information of the observation of the stars, sun, moon, and season that resulted in astrology, and almanac.  In Haitian kreyol the word that is used for calendar is Almanac.

Last week I spoke of the Agarou and the Archangel St. MichaEL.  The names of the angels all, coincidently end with "EL".  What is it about "EL".  Michael, Uriel, Gabriel, Raphael, Samuel, etc.

What is it about deities that are associated with the "EL".  

ʾĒl  Northwest Semitic word meaning "god" or "deity", or referring (as a proper name) to any one of multiple major Ancient Near East deities. A rarer spelling, "'ila", represents the predicate form in Old Akkadian and in Amorite. The word is derived from the Proto-Semitic archaic biliteral ʔ-L, meaning "god".



Today I stand on my square, as a Moor.  Not from a religious stand point like Moorish, or Jewish.  But as a granddaughter of a Haitian farmer.  The first "Black" Republic?  Let's take a closer look at the Haitian flag.  What do you see?

What is that on the top of the palm tree?  The palm tree is the emblem of Haiti!  Sitting at the top is a fez!  The fez is the head gear of the Moor.  Therefore, Haiti is a Moorish nation. Which distinguished itself, when it broke away from the Crown, as a Republic. 


Ironically, the fez can be found on several flags.  Let's look at the New York State flag.  On the staff of the woman "Indian" on the left.  Again, you find a flag, furthermore, at her feet is the Crown.  


The Moors, created things such as the:
  • Algebra
  • Almanac
  • Alchemy
The Capture of Fez occurred in 1576 at the Moroccan city of Fez, when an Ottoman Empire force from Algiers supported Abd al-Malek in gaining the throne of Morocco against his nephew and rival claimant Mulay Muhammed. About 10,000 Ottoman soldiers participated to the campaign. This campaign followed a short-lived Ottoman capture of Fez in 1554.


Which leads to ask what is up with the, Al?   What if we live in Al-Morocco?  This is the flag of Al-Morocco.

Hillary Clinton made an address in the Benjamin Banneker room of the White House, but what is the Al-Moroccan flag doing in Casablanca "White House".  Here is the video of Hillary and the Moroccan Minister in Casablanca!?!


Who is Benjamin Banneker?  Why does he have a room in the White House, and a National Park in Washington, D.C. Why haven't I heard of him? 

Isn't Casablanca an American classic move, which is said to taken place in Morocco.  Wake Up.  Here in lies the root cause of the distorted state of the people.

Honor &Respect, the Vodou Code. Nature rules...Supreme

Our Constitution is simply what we are made of.  Anything in its original form when created is at its purest, and powerful.  As it changes it is weakened and diluted.

We are experiencing history in the making.  America is changing and so are its values.  The Constitution is said to be built upon biblical principles.  However, this GOD that was once Trusted is being stripped from American... out of schools, and our beloved dollar bill


When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind...

"Laws of Nature" into the Declaration of independence, was referring to an Enlightenment concept deeply rooted in Western philosophy.

We now have the freedom to marry whomever we want.  We have the world at our finger tips but do we seek light!  Does it come with a click of a button, or flip of a switch?  It takes the same effort it took, then personal discovery and  encounter!

The laws of Nature can not be denied.  If Mother Nature is ignored it can take you out!

The Bible is just a book

The bible the most popular book in the world.  It has been translated into just about every language, and version.  In a nutshell the bible is just a book filled with allegory!
 This statement is not made to disregard or dismissed the experiences that are being described in this book. The bible give examples of the psychedelic experiences of alchemy that are supposed to occur as we go along our life journey.  The journey is also depicted in the "Fool's" journey of the Tarot. but most...have fallen short of the glory...
 
Deuteronomy 14:2
"For you are a holy people to the LORD your God, and the LORD has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
 
During the rites of Freemasonry that the initiate is asked to spit on the bible.   This is blasphemous for Christians, however, there is an agenda of this particular organization to consider. The regard in which this book is held shows the allegiance of the individual.
 

On the US dollar itself, it states "IN GOD WE TRUST", this country was built upon biblical principles.  As insignificant as it may seem most spend time thinking about how to get dollars, or more of it in there possession. 

They say knowledge is power, and once knowledge has increased, so can peace, and prosperity.  With knowledge one can be elevated, advance or progress.  True enlightenment I believe can be found into another book, and that book is the dictionary.  Yet, another book that can be found in multiple languages.  There is even a dictionary for the bible!?!  In the last entry I gave an idea of how spelling helps with spells.   Let's take it a step further, a spell can dictate a desired outcome.  Ultimately, your word is your wand!  Words, are broken down, and defined in a dictionary.  The bible give an idea of and attempts to breaks down what we are!  Honor and Respect.

The question maybe what does this have to do with vodou?  The response, everything.  Many come thinking Vodou is hocus pocus, to me it is Vous Dou... it is what you, do!

The ABCs of Spells... Spelling

Thank God for the internet, the wonderful world wide web.  You can google just about anything.  Google however is Artificial intelligence, an algorithm, you can only get out what was put in.   

Many search for spells on the net.  People seek spells for love, work, money, etc.  Yet, you know when you cast your net you can draw up things that want, and others that you do not.  The beauty that we have is natural intelligence.  As beings we have the power to create.

Yes, others can effectively petition on your behalf.  However,  No one can speak to your situation, greater, than you. You are going through your own experience. If it is your desire to become a mambo, hougan, shaman, etc, this is an indispensable skill.

The truth is a lot of people do not know how to spell. Being able to spell is the ability sum up how you feel. (A spell enhances your confidence that will get you a job, an interview, your money back, your to get your personality across.  Your words is your sword, and your vocabulary is vehicle that drive them into existence.

A spell consists of words to command a certain outcome.  Yes, spelling that which we learned in elementary school is important. Words have power! Re- read the sentence...

While in school, I have heard some say I do not see why this is important I am not going to use this in "real" life!?! Spelling seems crazy, illogical, and 'weird', right? But there are patterns, rules & reasons why some words are spelled the way they are - honestly!

One of the main complaints I here that I do not have...
Statistics state that:
2/3 of American students who aren't proficient readers by the grade will end up in jail or on welfare.
61% of low income families don't have books at home... 
1 in 4 American children never learn how to read. 


Interesting numbers, when education in America is, free. It's never too late to improve your spelling, thus your spells. Do something now to improve your spelling. It is useful for your personal altar work, addressing the lwa, and magic.

Forgotten Ancient Knowledge

My mother days they don't make them like use to.  She believe that the ones with true konesans have past on, and the ancient knowledge left with them.  I discovered this video and the wheels have been turning ever since.  It is rare now in the Haitian community that you hear someone speaking of the practices of meditation, or cultivation.
