Well I began doing some research on the Moors and what I have discovered is astounding!!! Historically when speaking of the natives of Haiti in the tale of Columbus the Tainos and the Arawak are bought up. So looked up Indians and Natives within the Carib and Maroons came up and instantly my mind went to the statue of called Neg Mawon found with in the capital of Haiti. Mawon in Haitian creole can be translated/ interpreted into 3. things: 1. mawon- means to "hide" or stay clear from a person, place, or thing? 2. Mawon can be if spelled correctly the color brown, and 3. Mawon can literally mean Maroon.
I started this journey to learn the origin of the Religion, Vodou/Voodoo. I have made some interesting connections that has helped me to understand the history, law, and the consciousness the African diaspora. During this journey I will share with you insights along the way. I am confident that true healing comes of Knowledge of Self...
